Plato’s Rave
Plato's Rave is an idea I just couldn't get out of my head until I made it. It's based on Plato's allegory of the cave- a thought experiment about truth, reality, and understanding. Each poster features hand-made typography and collage-type illustrations. Each day is a unique experience based upon three 'phases' of the Cave parable- illusion, ascension, and revelation.
Atomic Priesthood
Nuclear waste is dangerous for tens of thousands of years. How do we warn future generations about a danger they cannot see, hear, smell, taste, or touch? How do we ensure the warning is legible when we do not know how language will evolve? These are my interpretations of the best solutions science has to offer, including conceptual pictograms, deterrent earthworks, and the ray cat solution. Each poster features bespoke type based upon the evocative messaging of the Sandia report.
